The 2011 Night at the Races was a GREAT SUCCESS!

Thank you to all who came out to bet on horses and support St. Cecilia School!

The Third Annual St. Cecilia Night at the Races was held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2001. The fundraiser focused on recreating the atmosphere of a horse track right in our very own gym! Previously recorded horse races that are re-run on large screen, capturing the suspense and close-up action of an actual racetrack. Attendees place their bets and then root for their favorite horse from start to finish. Attendees can also increase their winnings through a split-the-pot raffle, great door prizes and a derby hat contest.

Proceeds from the event went toward enhancing technology at St. Cecilia School. Funds will be used for an online grading system and essential classroom equipment, such as projectors, document cameras and SMART Board interactive whiteboards.
